GHS wins team championship, four individuals advance to regional

The GGUSBC boys' sectional was held at Alex Alleys Thursday evening with Greencastle taking the team title with a total of 2,468. In addition, four individuals punched their ticket to the regional being held in Washington, Ind. Saturday.

The GHS team of Matt Cox, Jacob Ensor, Josh Chaney, Raymond Stinson and Hayden Rogers comprised the winning team. Greencastle put three bowlers in the top four, including the first alternate.

Ensor led all scorers with a total of 874, with teammates Stinson (847), and Josh Lady (768) finished in the top four and first alternate Chaney bowled a 762. South Putnam's Travis Giannechini bowled an 808 to place in the top four.

Advancing bowlers will travel to Washington to compete at the regional Saturday.
