Lloyd Leonard, 92, Greencastle, passed away Friday, Feb. 6, 2009 at Hickory Creek at Sunset in Greencastle.

He was born June 14, 1916, in Owen County, to John and Virgie (Cassidy) Leonard.

He was a dairy farmer; member of the Amo Baptist Church; past president of the National Farmers Organization; and enjoyed carpentry.

Mrs. Leonard is survived by two daughters, Joyce (Mike) Young of Timberlake, North Carolina and Janice (Dallas) Summerlot of Coatesville; a brother, Delbert (Annice) Leonard of Spencer; two sisters, Geneva Lane of Avon and Bernice Brewer of Anderson; 12 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Jane (Quick) Leonard in February 2008; a son, Stanley Leonard; two daughters, Linda Foss and Jackie Leonard; two brothers, Russell Leonard and Charles Leonard; and three sisters, Mildred Stanley, Juanita Bullard, and Dorothy May.

Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Hudson Hill Cemetery.
