Mickey Nadine Snider, 78, of Brazil died on Friday, Feb. 13, 2009 at Danville Regional Rehabilitation.

He was born Nov. 30, 1930 in Putnam County, the son of Halbert Cleon and Grace E. Stewart Snider. He married Carolyn M. Harney and she survives.

Mr. Snider served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He had been employed at Rocky Fork Lake as a caretaker.

Additional survivors include two daughters, Vickey Collins of Mechanicsville, Va. and Debbie Neese of Greencastle; six brothers, Bernard Snider of Greencastle, Jim Snider of Bowling Green, Richard Snider of Greencastle, Billy Snider of Cloverdale, H.C. Snider Jr. of Greencastle and Rex Snider of Reelsville; sister Betty Jo Harney of Greencastle; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers Wayne Snider and Bob Snider, sisters Irene Mosteller and Vivian Snider and grandchild Shea Collins.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Barnes and Rice Funeral Home, 111 E. High St., Rockville, with Pastor J. Daeschner officiating. Calling will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m.

Burial will be at Martin Cemetery in Ferndale. A military graveside service will be performed by the Parke County Veterans.
