Trials set, continued for alleged molesters

A trial has been set for one man accused for child molestation, while the trial of another alleged molester in a separate case has been continued for a third time.

William Norlin, 53, of Greencastle is slated to appear before a jury on May 27. Norlin was arrested on Jan. 20 and charged with two counts of Class C felony child molesting and Class D felony counts of performing sexual conduct in the presence of a minor and child seduction.

At his initial hearing, Norlin pled not guilty to all charges and his bond was set at $25,000 cash or surety. He posted bond and was released from jail on Jan. 22.

Meanwhile, the trial of William H. Honey, 31, of Fillmore has been continued to April 29.

Honey is charged with one count of Class A felony child molesting and two counts of Class C felony child molesting.

Honey was arrested Feb. 25, 2008. His initial hearing was held that same day, and he posted 10 percent of a $20,000 bond plus $20,000 surety and was released from jail.

Honey's jury trial was first set for Aug. 13, 2008. That date was continued to Jan. 14, and that date was continued to March 11.
