Putnam County Jail

There have been several book-ins at the Putnam County Jail recently.

On Friday at 9:47 p.m., Sao Chau, 28, Albuquerque, N.M., was booked for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, possession of paraphernalia and cocaine, and reckless driving.

Patrick Kelly, 18, Greencastle, was booked at 2:20 a.m. Saturday for public intoxication, resisting law enforcement and possessing alcohol as a minor.

Johnny Boyles, 19, Lima, Ohio, was booked at 3:23 a.m. Saturday for public intoxication and possessing alcohol as a minor.

Matthew Polky, 19, Greencastle, was booked at 3:49 a.m. Saturday for possessing alcohol as a minor and public intoxication.

Zachariah Harwood, 23, Crawfordsville, was booked at 10:31 a.m. Saturday for contempt of court.

Christopher Redman, 43, Greencastle, was booked at 10:24 p.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Evelyn Bitzer, 61, Greencastle, was booked at 12:51 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Misty Crouch, 34, Greencastle, was booked at 1:40 a.m. Sunday for probation violation.

Candance Kelly, 20, Greencastle, was booked at 2:37 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and possessing alcohol as a minor.

Brian Branagin, 33, Greencastle, was booked at 4:08 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication.

Jack Duncan, 54, Frankfort, was booked at 2:24 p.m. Sunday on a Clinton County warrant.

Pedro Gonzalez, 37, Indianapolis, was booked at 2:44 p.m. Sunday for failure to appear.

Darren King, 25, Indianapolis, was booked at 3:35 p.m. Sunday for probation violation.

Ronda Strunck, 40, Greencastle, was booked at 2:26 a.m. Monday for possession of a controlled substance and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Brandon Query, 22, Greencastle, was booked at 9:54 a.m. Monday for possession of marijuana and dealing in marijuana, hash oil or hashish.

Michael Grimes, 24, Greencastle, was booked at 11:05 a.m. Monday for parole violation.

James Alexander, 45, Indianapolis, was booked at 2:36 p.m. Monday for robbery and battery.

Greencastle Fire Department

The Greencastle Fire Department made several runs recently.

Crews were dispatched to 402 Anderson St. at 6:10 p.m. Saturday for a false alarm, which put them back in service a few minutes later.

On Sunday at 6:24 p.m., crews were dispatched to 357 E. 300S for a smoke investigation. When they arrived, the fire was out. Crews were back in service at 6:43 p.m.

On Sunday at 8:41 p.m., crews were dispatched to 1540 S. Bloomington St., but found it was a false alarm. They were back in service at 8:44 p.m. Crews were again dispatched to the same address at 10:05 p.m. Sunday and found the alarm was malfunctioning.

On Monday at 12:42 p.m., crews were dispatched to 106 S. Spring St. for a fire alarm. Nothing was found and they were back in service at 12:51 p.m.

On Monday at 1:06 p.m., crews were dispatched to 2337 Rangeline Road for a structure fire. They were back in service at 3:14 p.m.

On Monday at 10:30 p.m., crews responded to a false alarm at 409 S. Jackson St. They were back in service at 10:32 p.m.
