Friends of the Park hosts Eggfest '09

EggFest '09, an annual evening egg hunt for teens, will be hosted by the Friends of the Park Association of Putnam County and Greencastle Parks and Recreation on April 3.

The event is open to teens in grades six through 12, and will be held at Robe-Ann Park. Registration for the event costs $5 and will be held from 7 to 8:50 p.m. on the night of the hunt. The hunt will begin at 9 p.m., with music until 10 p.m.

All participants must have signed permission slips, which can be obtained from local schools or at www.cityofgreencastle.com

Good Egg Sponsors for this year's event are Kroger, Hendricks Power Cooperative and Mill Pond Health Campus. Putnam County Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Organization is a Golden Egg Sponsor for the event.
