Edward Leroy Hubbard, 75, of Fillmore died on Friday, April 3, 2009.
He and his wife Charlotte were married 53 years and still resided in the home where they raised their family in Fillmore. He graduated from Stilesville High School in 1953.
Mr. Hubbard retired from IBM in 1987 in Greencastle. He also served in the National Guard, where he obtained the rank of master sergeant.
Survivors include his wife; four children, Lonnie Hubbard and wife Tasha, Eddie Hubbard and wife Janet, Randy Hubbard and Teresa Stewart; seven grandchildren, Jamie Hubbard and wife Carrie, Sunshine Fox and husband Darrick, Chase Hubbard and wife Rebecca, Nathan Hubbard, Lindsey Hubbard, Dylan Hubbard and Sean Stewart; four great-grandchildren, Kaylee Hubbard, Eva Hubbard, Kendra Fox and Alissa Fox; sister Ruthann Bennett Whitman of Arizona; brother Billy Hubbard; sisters-in-law Janice Hubbard, Shirley Grieser, Janet Sedam, Judy Benson and husband Don and Dolly Duke and husband Merrill; nieces and nephews Kim, Sherrie, Donnie, Michael, Craig, Marcus, Robin, David, Karole, Marty and Steven; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary and Howard Hubbard of Stilesville; brother Gene of Stilesville; and infant brother Raymond.
Services will be at Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville at noon on Tuesday with the Rev. Dr. Mary Rudy officiating. Burial will be in Stilesville Cemetery.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
