The Lady Eagles moved their record to 3-0 and showed that they are a team to be reckoned with in the Wabash Valley Saturday, when they knocked off Terre Haute North 8-1.

Brooke Boetjer snagged her second win in less than a week, tossing a three-hitter while fanning three batters and throwing 10-ground outs. She also went 1-for-2 at the plate and scored a run.

Also making some noise for the Lady Eagles was Katelyn Sibbitt, who jacked one out of the park with two outs in the second inning for the first run of the game.

Krystal Welch led the team at the plate going, 2-for-4 with an RBI while Sarah Burnham went 1-for-3 with two RBIs in her first varsity plate appearance.

The Lady Eagles' bats came to life once again in the sixth frame, allowing them to score six runs.

South Put had eight RBIs on eight hits Saturday.

The Lady Eagles are back in action on today when they host Cascade at 5 p.m.
