Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Raymond Hedrick, Crawfordsville, was traveling south on U.S. 231 at 1:59 a.m. Sunday when his vehicle left the roadway for unknown reasons. The vehicle struck a power pole after leaving the road. Kenny's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Timothy May II, Brazil, was traveling south on Capital Drive near the sports park and as he approached an intersection, he hit the accelerator instead of the brake. It caused his vehicle to leave the roadway and strike a fence post before coming to rest in a field. The accident occurred at 4:35 p.m. Wednesday. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Frank Schafer, Reelsville, was traveling west on U.S. 40 at 2:12 a.m. Wednesday when a deer entered the roadway. Schafer was unable to avoid hitting the animal. Steele's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Karen Hirt, Bainbridge, was traveling north on U.S. 231 at 11:32 a.m. Thursday when a vehicle driven by Jeannine Chadd pulled out in front of her off of CR 500N. Hirt stated she tried to avoid a collision, but struck the driver's side of Chadd's vehicle. Kenny's Wrecker Service towed both vehicles from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Putnam County Jail

Christopher O'Connell, 33, Taylorville, Ill., was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 2:22 a.m. Thursday for public intoxication.

Justin Ethington, 22, Niantic, Ill., was booked at 2:41 a.m. Thursday for public intoxication.

Evelyn Jackson, 34, Crawfordsville, was booked at 10:08 a.m. Thursday for failure to appear.

Norman Winn, 60, Greencastle, was booked at 1:49 p.m. Thursday for public intoxication and probation violation.

Delbert Boswell, 35, Reelsville, was booked at 5:27 p.m. Thursday for invasion of privacy.

Anthony Pearson, 40, Greencastle, was booked at 11:37 p.m. Thursday for possession of marijuana, obstruction of justice, resisting law enforcement and disorderly conduct.

James Icenogle, 53, Poland, was booked at 10:50 p.m. Friday for operating a vehicle as a habitual traffic violator and operating per se.

Stanley McKinney, 27, Greencastle, was booked at 12:43 a.m. Saturday for resisting law enforcement, public intoxication and probation violation

Willard Kendall, 57, Greencastle, was booked at 5:21 p.m. Saturday for public intoxication and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Justin Jett, 30, Greencastle, was booked at 12:39 a.m. Sunday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, intimidation and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

Randell Rogers, 55, Roachdale, was booked at 1:30 a.m. Sunday for criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.

Brice Larrick, 27, Snyder, Colo., was booked at 1:53 a.m. Sunday for operating per se.

David Whalen, 19, Bloomingdale, was booked at 2:14 a.m. Sunday for possessing alcohol as a minor and public intoxication.

John Slone, 24, Indianapolis, was booked at 4:41 p.m. Monday for failure to stop after damage to property other than a vehicle and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Chris Faught, 27, Greencastle, was booked at 9:37 p.m. Monday for failure to appear.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 509 S. Locust St., at 2:27 p.m. Wednesday, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 2:29 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 413 S. Locust St., at 6:48 p.m. Wednesday, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 6:49 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 910 E. Washington St., at 8:02 a.m. Wednesday, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 8:05 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1601 Hospital Drive at 9:18 p.m. Thursday for a good intent call. They were back in service at 9:45 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to U.S. 231 across from Old Hickory at 9:48 a.m. Friday for a service call. They were back in service at 10:10 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1010 Judson Court at 6:17 a.m. Saturday for smoke detector activation, but there was no fire. They were back in service at 6:35 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 513 S. Bloomington St., at 10:14 p.m. Saturday for a gas leak. They were back in service at 10:25 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1616 Rangeline Road at 10:44 a.m. Sunday for a medical assist. They were back in service at 11:05 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 106 S. Spring St., at 7:56 p.m. Sunday, but were disregarded before leaving the station. They were back in service at 7:58 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 300 S. Warren Drive at 8:48 a.m. Monday for an unintentional alarm. They were back in service at 9:13 a.m.
