Joseph D. Stultz, 82, of Greencastle died on Monday, April 20, 2009.
He was born on Nov. 26, 1926 in Putnam County to Oliver Dewey and Lillie Newgent Stultz.
Mr. Stultz attended Morton Grade School and was a graduate of Clinton Center High School. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force during World War II. He was a lifelong farmer and had owned Stultz Feed and Seed in Morton.
Surviving are his wife of 54 years, Marjorie R. Frazier Stultz; his sons, Greg Stultz and wife Rita of Rockville, Jeff Stultz and wife Patty of Greencastle and Rick Stultz and wife Debbie of Greencastle; two sisters, Katherine Wichmann and Julia Jean Newgent; two brothers, James Stultz and wife Esther and George Stultz and wife Ruth; six grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
His parents preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Burial will be private at Clinton Falls Cemetery.
