Eagles stay perfect with win over Monrovia

MONROVIA -- The South Putnam High School softball team blanked Monrovia, 10-0, in six innings Wednesday night.

Brooke Boetjer tossed a one-hitter while fanning 12 Bulldogs.

Krystal Welch and Oceaia Boetjer both went 2-for-4 for the night. Welch also scored three runs.

Brooke Boetjer, Allysia Lollar and Jenny Thompson also had two RBIs each.

South Putnam is back in action today when they host Monrovia at 4:30 p.m.
