SPJH boys track wins

The South Putnam Middle School track team earned a victory Wednesday. The Eagles finished first with 70 points while North Putnam came in second with 48 points and Lighthouse Christian finished with 18 points.

Finishing first for South Putnam was Dyson in the long jump. He leaped 16-feet-6.5-inches while Chestnut threw 44-feet-2.75-inches for the win. The 400 meter relay team of Knoy, S. Arnold, Bumgardner and Dyson won with a time of 51.21. S. Arnold won the 400 with a time of 59.68 and the 1,600 relay team on Knoy, Doolin, Bumgardner and Dyson won with a time of 4:26.
