Glen Dale Vickroy

CLOVERDALE -- Glen Dale Vickroy, 81, Cloverdale, passed away on Thursday, May 7th, 2009, at Hendricks County Hospital.

He was born on June 10th, 1927 to Clifford and Stella Lowe Vickroy, who preceded him in death.

Mr. Vickroy was a retired truck driver with Stokely Van Camp, Indianapolis and was currently working in the lawn and garden department at Greencastle's Wal-mart.

He was also a member of the Cloverdale Town Council.

He married Audra Cummings on Jan. 12, 1949, and she survives. Survivors also include three daughters, Cindy (Gary) Anderson, Cloverdale, Connie (Jack) Galloway, Colorado Springs, Colo., and Cathy (Greg) Tipton, Cloverdale; and four grandchildren, Stacie (Adam) King, London, England, Justin Galloway, Colorado Springs, Gina Anderson, Cloverdale and Brandon Huber, Plainfield.

Five brothers and one sister also preceded him in death.

Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 8 p.m., and the funeral will be on Tuesday at 11a.m., at Donald L. Pearson Mortuary, 14 Crosswinds St. Burial will be at the Cloverdale Cemetery.
