Class D felonies are punishable by up to three years in jail.
William E. Norlin, 53, of Cloverdale was arrested Jan. 22 and originally charged with Class C felonies child molesting (two counts) and sexual misconduct with a minor and Class D felonies performing sexual conduct in the presence of a minor and child seduction.
Court documents said Norlin's victim, a teenage girl, reported his molestation of her to Child Protective Services on Jan. 20. The victim told authorities Norlin began molesting her when she was 11 years old.
Norlin will be sentenced on June 4. He posted a $25,000 cash bond and was released from jail on Jan. 26.
Vernon N. Fredrickson, 52, of Bainbridge was originally charged with two Class C felony counts of child molesting and one count of Class D felony sexual battery.
His sentencing will take place June 11. He was arrested on April 7, 2008. He posted 10 percent of a $20,000 and was released from jail on April 10.
According to court documents, Fredrickson molested a child who was in his care on between two and 10 occasions from 2001 to 2004. Charges against him were filed after a two-month investigation conducted by the Indiana State Police.
