Putnam County Jail

Charles Kistner, 19, Greencastle, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 5:22 p.m. Thursday for failure to appear.

Crystal Lockaby, 28, Coatesville, was booked at 12:53 a.m. Friday for possession of marijuana.

Heather Spangler, 47, Bloomington, was booked at 9:16 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle with a suspended or revoked license.

James Miller, 59, Greencastle, was booked at 10:59 a.m. Saturday for probation violation.

Steve Shepard, 40, was booked at 12:39 p.m. Saturday for intimidation with a deadly weapon, domestic battery, criminal confinement and interfering with the reporting of a crime.

Joseph Harrell, 45, Cloverdale, was booked at 11:07 p.m. Saturday for intimidation and domestic battery.

Kevin Liddle, 41, Indianapolis, was booked at 12:52 a.m. Sunday for reckless driving.

Adrian Fisher, 19, Fillmore, was booked at 1:34 a.m. Sunday for possessing alcohol as a minor, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of .08 or greater, operating a vehicle while intoxicated and with a suspended or revoked license and public intoxication.

James Hurt, 27, Indianapolis, was booked at 1:49 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Kelly Holsapple, 47, Reelsville, was booked at 3:18 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Charles Bruce, 26, Greencastle, was booked at 9:13 a.m. Sunday for refusing to submit to a chemical test, resisting law enforcement, false reporting or informing and operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Anthony Moran, 21, Center Point, was booked at 11:15 a.m. Sunday for probation violation.

Jacob Handlon, 18, Fillmore, was booked at 1:58 p.m. Sunday for violation of bond agreement.

Larry Hook, 40, Greencastle, was booked at 7:17 p.m. Sunday for probation violation.

Laura Waldron, 48, Greencastle, was booked at 5:19 a.m. Monday for domestic battery.

David Frazier, 58, Greencastle, was booked at 9:05 p.m. Monday for public intoxication.

Reid Foxworthy, 24, Crawfordsville, was booked at 11:35 p.m. Monday for operating a vehicle as a habitual traffic violator.

Jason Buchanan, 29, Greencastle, was booked at 10:02 a.m. Tuesday for contempt of court.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

David Basan, Roachdale, was traveling east on US 36 at 9:51 p.m. Monday when a deer entered the roadway. Basan was unable to avoid a collision with the animal. Jerry's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

David Harmon, Greencastle, was traveling east on CR 275E at 8:58 p.m. Monday when he attempted a right turn in a curve at the same time as a second vehicle. To avoid colliding with the second vehicle, Harmon hit the brakes and slid on gravel. His vehicle went through a resident's driveway and into the fence. There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.

Bryant Lee, Greencastle, was traveling west on US 36 at 10:30 p.m. Saturday when a deer entered the road. Lee was unable to avoid a collision with the animal. Seniour's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Kelsey Wesley, Bainbridge, was traveling south on CR 300N at 8:30 a.m. Saturday when she lost control of the vehicle while rounding a curve. The vehicle struck a tree line before coming to rest. The accident report stated the vehicle's tires slid on the wet road surface due to sand washed on the road by recent rain. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Bill Vaughn, Reelsville, was making a turn onto CR 675W to travel south when a vehicle driven by Jessie Dwigans, Quincy, traveling north cut the turn going left of center. Vaughn's vehicle struck the driver's side of Dwigans' vehicle. No injuries were reported at the scene. The accident occurred at 4:49 p.m. May 13. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 735 E. Washington St., at 10:06 p.m. Thursday for an investigation of an extinguished fire. They were back in service at 10:16 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 750 S. Fillmore Road at 3:58 a.m. Friday for a fire alarm, but were cancelled in route. They were back in service at 4:06 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 208 S. Olive St. at 5:04 p.m. Saturday for a fire alarm, but were cancelled in route. They were back in service at 5:07 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 4948 W. CR 350N at 7:03 p.m. Saturday to assist Van Bibber with manpower and equipment at a garage fire. They were back in service at 8:52 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 504 E. Seminary St. at 12:50 p.m. Sunday for a fire alarm, but nothing was found. They were back in service at 1:05 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 446 Anderson St. at 4:42 a.m. Sunday for a fire alarm, but nothing was found. They were back in service at 5:05 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 208 S. Olive St. at 11:10 a.m. Sunday for a fire alarm. They were back in service at 11:22 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1016 Indianapolis Road at 12:54 a.m. Monday to investigate the smell of smoke. An overheated motor on a Pepsi machine was found. There was no fire. They were back in service at 1:20 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1626 N. US 231 at 10:43 a.m. Tuesday for a one-vehicle accident with injury. Putnam County Operation Life transported one patient to Putnam County Hospital. They were back in service at 11:16 a.m.
