Generous donations were appreciated

To the Editor;

Thanks to the generous donations from local businesses, the local volunteers of the AARP TaxAide Volunteer Program were able to help more than 150 taxpayers with their tax returns this year.

For the donation of laptop computers, many thanks to HOP Technologies, CTEP at DePauw University and Brian Kamplain.

For printers and supplies, thanks to Wal-Mart store No. 902, Dick Hurley and John Kibiger.

We hope to continue to serve our community with this free tax preparation service.
