Jerving

Douglas and Patty Jerving were married on May 19, 1979. On May 24, 2009, their seven children threw them a surprise 30th wedding anniversary party at their oldest daughter's home in Milwaukee, Wis.

Patty is the former Patty Tellas, formerly of Reelsville.

The Jervings' children are Rachel Jerving, Rebecca Twito, Katherine Priest, Faith Ferra, Peter Jerving, Andrew Jerving and Jamison Jerving.

Friends, relatives, and grandchildren were in attendance at the anniversary celebration. The children created a unique wall plaque out of parts of one of the original wedding invitations with a wedding photo and a current photo of their parents.

A light dinner and cake were served.
