Special Recognition

Kraig Kinney, director of Putnam County Operation Life, recognized Wanda Twigg, secretary for Operation Life, for her 33 years of service, while State Representative Nancy Michael, D-Greencastle, presented her with the Distinguished Hoosier Award.

Operatin Life billing secretary Wanda Twigg received various recognitions during her recent retirement reception. Among the recognitions was the Distinguished Hoosier Award, as granted by Governor Mitch Daniels.

The Distinguished Hoosier award recognizes individuals "with qualities and characteristics that reflect the best of the State of Indiana" and "actions that endear them in the hearts and minds of all Hoosiers"

State Representative Nancy Michael, D-Greencastle, recognized Twigg for her years of service to Operation Life with a certificate from Michael and State Senator Connie Lawson.

In addition, Operation Life director Kraig Kinney recognized Twigg for her 33 years of service to the organization, which is celebrating its 35th year of service to Putnam County as the county's ambulance provider. Kinney also recognized Twigg with a certificate from Operation Life's founding members.
