Rosemary Stout Harrold, 92, of Greencastle died Wednesday, June 10, 2009.
She was born May 10, 1917, the daughter of Frank B. and Rosalia Stout in Indianapolis. She attended St. Agnes High School and Butler University, majoring in education.
Mrs. Harrold was a longtime, very active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Greencastle. Known for her wit and charm, she will be dearly missed by family and friends.
Survivors include daughter Carolyn Anderson and husband Richard of Monument, Colo.; sons Stephen Harrold and wife Carolyne of Mount Vernon, Wash., Paul Harrold and wife Peg of Lakewood, Colo., Mark Harrold and wife Susan of Naples, Fla., Daniel Harrold and wife Patty of Riverside, Calif. and Nicholas Harrold and wife Laura of Spencer; 22 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frederick J. Harrold and son Patrick J. Harrold.
A funeral mass will be held at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, followed by burial at Forest Hill Cemetery. Calling will be at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, with Rosary at 7:30 p.m.
