Carolyn Jean Davidson, 62, of Terre Haute died Friday, June 5, 2009 in a car/train accident.

She was born in Vigo County on Feb. 13, 1947 to James and Lavene (Baxter) Sutliff. She was currently employed as the administrator for the Qualified Savings Plan at Operating Engineers Local No. 841.

She was a special education teacher and retired seven years ago as the director of the Old National Trail Program in Greencastle. Her family was primary in her life and all else was secondary.

She and her husband were actively involved with many horse associations throughout the Wabash Valley. She was a member of Faith Wesleyan Church.

She is survived by her husband, Blaine Davidson whom she married on Aug. 21, 1969; two sons, Chris Davidson and his wife Jennifer, and Greg Davidson; two daughters Shannon Senteney and husband Alan and Tonya Kincaid and husband Jeff; grandchildren Kaylee Senteney, Colton Senteney, and Cierra Kincaid.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Mary Sutliff.

Services will be at noon Wednesday in DeBaun Funeral Home, 85 E. Springhill Dr., Terre Haute. Visitation hours will on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until service time.
