Emma Pinney

Emma Pinney, 91, formerly of Sun City, Ariz. died Sunday June 21, 2009 at the Northwood Good Samaritan Retirement Community in Jasper.

She was born June 2, 1918 in Chicago to Romules and Anna Kisch Vertach.

She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne B. Pinney, who died Feb. 18, 2001.

Surviving are 3 sons, Jeff Pinney of Otwell, Harvey Pinney of Wheatland and Dale Pinney of Munster; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Becher & Kluesner Funeral Home, Jasper, is in charge of local arrangements.
