Park to host Pinewood Derby

The Celebrate "4" Committee and Greencastle Cub Scout Pack 99 and Boy Scout Pack 99 will present the Red, White and Blue Pinewood Derby and Car Show at 1 p.m. at Robe-Ann Park Shelter #2.

Race divisions include Putnam County Cub Scouts, youth open class and adult open class. Race entry fee is $3 for Cub Scouts and $5 for open class. Awards will be present to the first, second and third place finishers in each division. The contest schedule will be determined based upon entrants received. Only one entry per person is allowed.

The car show is free and will feature antique, vintage (constructed before Jan. 1) and late model (constructed after Jan. 1) classes.

The entry deadline is noon Saturday at Shelter #2.
