Putnam County Museum calling for spooky tales

Wednesday, July 1, 2009

The Putnam County Museum is moving along with research for the fall exhibit of Putnam County Haunts. However, the still need the public's help.

As part of the exhibit, they hope to have personal stories from folks who know, have heard, or have experienced any haunted tales or activities. Forrest Hill Cemetery? Goat Moy? Four Arches? Topper's Tavern?

Everyone has a tale to tell, either a first hand account, or something that happened to a friend of a friend. Or at the very least, a spooky tale that has haunted the county for ages.

Also, it's rumored that Scott Brown used to write a newsletter about Putnam County haunts. Any information on where these papers could be found would be greatly appreciated.

Put the story in writing and send it to Putnam County Museum, Attn: Haunts, 1105 N. Jackson St., Greencastle, IN 46135 or e-mail to museum2@co.putnam.in.us Subject: Haunts.
