Putnam County 4-H Fair Adult Open Class entry begins today

All non-food exhibits for the 2009 Adult Open Class at the Putnam County 4-H Fair including Just for Fun and Quilt Block contests, should be entered today at the Putnam County 4-H Fairgrounds. Exhibits can be entered from 4 to 7 p.m.

The remainder of the Adult Open Class schedule is:

Saturday, July 18 -- Enter Food Preservation and Culinary exhibits 9-11 a.m.

Saturday, July 18 -- Adult Open Class Exhibit Hall opens to the public at 6 p.m.

Sunday, July 19 -- Table Top Demonstrations

Monday, July 20 -- Open Judging of the Fine Arts exhibits

Tuesday, July 21 -- Recycling demonstrations

Wednesday, July 22 -- Family Fun Day- Christmas in July (including Style Show and Purse Auction) starts at 10 a.m.

Thursday, July 23 -- Bakers' Best Contest; entries due 9-11 a.m. Judging starts at 12:30 p.m. Awards and Auction at 7:00 p.m.

Friday, July 24 -- Adult Open Class Awards presentation 7 p.m.

Saturday, July 25 -- Exhibits released between 9-11 a.m.

  • Adulty Open class GARDEN:

    Advance entries may be submitted from 6 - 8pm Sunday July 19th.

    ALL entries must be in place between 8am - 11am, Monday July 20th - judging will start at 11:30am.

    If you have a question about what to enter from your garden...The extention office has Booklets with all the rules. :)
