She was born Feb. 20, 1924 in Cloverdale to the late Louis and Laura Ridgway. She was a 1943 graduate of Cloverdale High School.
Mrs. Mesling worked for Kilsby-Roberts in Indianapolis in the inventory control department 15 years, before retiring in 1984.
Survivors include her daughter Pamela R. Baker; brother Louis Warren Ridgway and wife Josephine; brother-in-law David Lewis; grandchildren Melissa L. Leaver, Brian M. Baker and Brent J. Baker; and great-grandchildren Stephanie and Cory Leaver.
She was preceded in death by husbands James Forrest Baugh and Joseph Mesling.
Funeral services will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Hampton-Gentry Funeral Home, Plainfield, where friends may call on Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Little Union Baptist Cemetery in Unionville.
