Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Derek Knowling, Roachdale, was traveling southwest on CR 200E at 9:06 p.m. Saturday, when his vehicle slid into a second vehicle driven by Carl Everts of Fillmore due to the wet roadway.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Estella Estep of Edinburgh was traveling west on Interstate 70 at 8:25 a.m. Sunday, when a deer entered the roadway. The initial impact was on the right, front fender and windshield. Damages were also to the two right passenger doors.

There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Michael Yeley, Roachdale, was traveling east on S.R. 236, when a vehicle driven by Joyce Roberts, New Ross, rolled into his path from N. Walnut Street.

The accident occurred at 11:56 a.m. Friday in Roachdale. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Beverly Henderson, Bainbridge, was traveling south on CR 550E near Fillmore, when her vehicle left the roadway, went into a ditch and struck a tree before spinning around back into the roadway.

Henderson refused medical treatment at the scene, but was transported by her spouse to Putnam County Hospital for evaluation. The accident occurred at 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

Amanda Lowe of Plainfield was traveling northwest on CR 275E at 8 a.m. Friday, when a deer entered the roadway. Lowe swerved to avoid the animal, but left the road and traveled down an embankment before striking a fence and fence post.

Lowe was uninjured. Her vehicle was not towed from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Kathryn West, Greencastle, was traveling on CR 25W near Bainbridge at 9 p.m. Thursday, when her vehicle rolled onto its side. West was unable to get out of the vehicle due to her physical disabilities, the accident report stated.

She was transported by Putnam County Operation Life to Putnam County Hospital for complaints of pain in her chest, back and neck. Kenny's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Charles Hallam, Quincy, was traveling west on CR 1050S, when he attempted to make a U-turn to travel behind a possible impaired driver. During the turn, Hallam's vehicle struck a mailbox causing minimal damage to the vehicle.

The accident occurred at 1:50 a.m. Saturday near Cloverdale.

Putnam County Jail

Steven Glavan, 54, Quincy, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 12:06 a.m. Saturday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and operating per se.

Cassandra Thomas, 24, Roachdale, was booked at 2:20 a.m. Saturday for domestic battery.

Anthony Pearson, 40, Greencastle, was booked at 1:15 a.m. Sunday for public intoxication.

Nicholas Williams, 18, Coatesville, was booked at 11:16 p.m. Sunday for trespassing and theft.

Seth Powell, 18, Quincy, was booked at 11:32 p.m. Sunday for theft and criminal trespassing.

Larry Patterson, 37, Indianapolis, was booked at 12:24 a.m. Monday for receiving stolen property and theft.

Adam Neville, 22, Roachdale, was booked at 1:23 a.m. Monday for public intoxication.

David Burger, 44, Coatesville, was booked at 11:38 a.m. Monday for petition to revoke probation.

Alysha Bettis, 19, Cloverdale, was booked at 1:49 p.m. Monday for petition to revoke bond.

Alexis Thorpe, 27, Bloomington, was booked at 10:03 p.m. Monday for trafficking with an inmate and possession of cocaine.

Anthony Anderson, 47, Cloverdale, was booked at 4:08 a.m. Tuesday for possession of paraphernalia and marijuana and dealing in marijuana.

Cindy Randolph, 43, Brazil, was booked at 4:35 a.m. Tuesday for possession of paraphernalia, a controlled substance and marijuana and dealing in schedule I, II or II substance.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 4757 N CR 25W, Bainbridge, at 7:10 a.m. Friday to assist in a car accident. They were back in service at 8:08 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 626 Seminary St. at 3:14 p.m. Friday for an alarm due to cooking. They were back in service at 3:19 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 601 Ridge Ave. at 9:32 p.m. Friday for a smoke investigation. They were back in service at 9:46 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 105 W. Hannah St. at 3:01 a.m. Saturday, but were disregarded before they left station. They were back in service at 3:04 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1060 Avenue D at 5:27 a.m. Sunday for a lift assist. They were back in service at 5:53 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 826 N. Madison St. at 12:01 p.m. Tuesday due to a lightening strike, which blew a fuse in the home. They were back in service at 12:22 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 16 S. Jackson St. at 12:56 p.m. Tuesday for a malfunctioning alarm. They were back in service at 1:03 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1701 S. US 231 at 1:49 p.m. Tuesday for debris clean up on the highway. They were back in service at 1:56 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1611 W. CR 300S at 2:24 p.m. Tuesday for an investigation of down power lines. They were back in service at 2:43 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 10 W. Hannah St., at 2:13 p.m. Tuesday for a fire alarm. They were back in service at 2:44 p.m.
