Thanks to WIC for a great event

To the Editor:

I would like to thank Sarah and the local WIC office for a great event last night at the park.

The event that was held in honor of World Breastfeeding Week was well done and very nicely put together. I went with my sister and cousin, and took two of my children. We all had a great time eating pizza and playing games. We even won door prizes!

So hats off to you! It was a great event and I hope to see more local events such as this in the future. I will take every opportunity to attend.

I wish that more people had attended and could have become more educated about breastfeeding and its benefits. It is not only beneficial to the baby, but also to the mother and to the environment.

It is not disgusting to see women breastfeeding in public. It's natural.
