Larry William Wilkerson

Larry William Wilkerson, 60, of Greencastle, died Wednesday, Aug. 12, 2009 at IU Simon Cancer Center in Indianapolis.

Born May 7, 1949 in Marion County, he was the son of Bert and Mary Wilkerson of Indianapolis. He married Buffy Sue Wilkerson on Dec. 3, 1999, and she survives.

Mr. Wilkerson was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a general laborer most of his life.

Survivors include five brothers and one sister, Ronnie, Terry, Burt Jr., Donnie, Mark and Theresa.

Cremation was held on Monday, and there will be no funeral services.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday at the VanBibber Lake Volunteer Fire Dept at 3 p.m.
