James A. Miles

James A. Miles, 86, of Greencastle, died on Thursday, Aug. 13, 2009.

He was born on May 5, 1923 in Terre Haute to Frank and Louise Dickens Miles.

Mr. Miles was a graduate of Greencastle High School, retired from Ford Motor Company in Chicago, and was a member of Bethel A.M. E. Church.

Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

His parents and siblings, Charles Miles, Floyd Miles, Henry Miles, Marshall Miles, Eugene Miles, Frances L. Miles and Helen Miles Copeland preceded him in death.

Inurnment will be at 11 a.m. Aug. 24 at Forest Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home.
