Putnam County Jail

Michael Terry, 21, Indianapolis, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 1:30 p.m. Thursday for petition to revoke probation.

Lance Morrison, 22, Cloverdale, was booked at 8:39 p.m. Thursday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, public intoxication and operating per se.

Cathy Smith, 48, Cloverdale, was booked at 8:47 p.m. Thursday for public intoxication.

Christina Matthews, 35, Greencastle, was booked at 12:11 p.m. Friday for petition to revoke probation.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Steven Beddow of Terre Haute was traveling east on Interstate 70 at 5:56 p.m. Thursday, when a vehicle described as a black Nissan swerved into his lane causing his vehicle to go off the road and hit a guardrail. Steels Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

A vehicle driven by Betty Scaggs, Brazil, and a pick up truck pulling a trailer driven by Christopher Burnham, Reelsville, were rounding a 90-degree curve on CR 550S, when the two collided in a sideswipe. The accident occurred at 5:06 p.m. Thursday. Neither vehicle was towed from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.
