Bobbie D. Collier

Bobbie D. Collier, 73, of Fillmore died Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009 at his residence.

He was born Sept. 11, 1935 in Cloverdale to Dewey and Sarah Etchinson Collier.

Mr. Collier had been a heavy equipment operator for himself as well as several construction companies. He was a member of Stilesville Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife Elizabeth "Kate" Lawson Collier; daughter Melissa Neal and husband Leon of Fillmore; sons Rodney Collier of North Salem, Randy Collier and wife Joann of Danville and Clifton Collier and wife Mindy of Greencastle; and brothers Earl Collier of Fillmore and Gene Collier of Stilesville.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Hays Funeral Home in Coatesville with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Burial will be in Stilesville Cemetery. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
