Putnam County Jail

Tracy Westmoreland, 27, Greencastle, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 1:22 p.m. Thursday for a parole hold.

Susan Ewing, 52, Greencastle, was booked at 2:37 p.m. Thursday for violation of probation.

David New, 41, Roachdale, was booked at 1:15 a.m. Friday for public intoxication, violation probation and mischief.

Randy Wood, 26, Gossport, was booked at 11:21 a.m. Friday for violation of probation.

Johsua Whitman, 22, no address listed, was booked at 11:25 a.m. Friday for petition to revoke probation.

Sheriff's Department

Esther Yater, 90, Poland, was traveling north on Main Street in Cloverdale at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, when she drove left of center and struck a parked vehicle registered to Jackie and Sandra Langston of Cloverdale.

The accident report stated it appeared Yater had fallen asleep at the time of the crash. She was checked by paramedics with Putnam County Operation Life, but refused medical treatment at the scene.

Cloverdale Fire Department assisted at the scene. Steele's Wrecker Service towed Yater's vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,001 in damages.

Harold Everett of Greencastle was traveling on US 231 near Greencastle at 1:20 p.m. Sept. 6, when his vehicle struck the back of a vehicle driven by Dustin Bailey of Indianapolis.

Neither vehicle was towed from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Michael Phipps of Greencastle was traveling on CR 100S near Greencastle at 5:58 a.m. Thursday, when his vehicle struck a deer.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages. Phipp's vehicle was not towed.
