Greencastle finihsed second with 73, points while Cloverdale finihsed ninth with 215 and South Putnam finihsed 10th with 237.

"Coming into this meet we knew that there would be some tough competition would come from 18th ranked Brownsburg and some of the other larger schools. I was pleased to have four girls in the top 20 and do so with good times," GHS coach Garry Anderson said. "The girls are responding well to competing as a team and not just as individuals.

"It's really been a surprise each meet this season with Emily Crawley, breaking her personal best each time she runs. She is really doing great for a first time cross country runner," Anderson added.

Greencastle is back in action on Saturday when they travel to Bloomington North for another Invitational.
