Eagles compete at the Northview Invite

BRAZIL -- The South Putnam cross country teams traveled to Brazil to compete at the Northview Invitational. The boys' team place third on the night with 80 points, while the girls were fourth with 88 points.

The boys' squad was led by Dylan Hayes with a sixth place finish in 18:53. Paul Rubino was 13th overall with a time of 19:42, with Tanner Barr placing 16th with a time of 19:46. Jorge Cavell was 22nd in 20:21, Shea Arnold was 23rd in 20:23, Andrew Kelly was 38th in 21:25 and Matt Rudolph finished in 50th place with the time of 22:52.

For the girls', Kaelynn Cox was South Putnam's top finisher in 12th place in a time of 25:03. Amanda Lund was 15th in a time of 25:38, while Lyndsie Beasley was 25:40. Brittany Birt placed 30th on the night with a time of 29:45 and Jessica Bubb was 38th in 34:11.
