GOP has offered alternatives

To the Editor:

In response to the Speak Out regarding the health care debate: First of all, the Republicans have offered input and an alternate plan, but Nancy Pelosi for one will not permit input by the Republicans.

Second, the Democrats are so split on the proposed plans that there are not enough votes to pass any kind of bill.

Third, if you are not concerned about your future, you must have your head in the sand. This administration scares me to death. I am an elderly citizen and am very concerned about the future.

My advice to you is that you need to be more informed as to what is going on.
