Robert E. "Bobby" Manion, 56, of Indianapolis, died Monday, Sept. 21, 2009.
He was born Jan. 28, 1953 in Crawfordsville to the late Emmett and Mary Manion.
Mr. Manion was employed in the summers, enjoyed working at the State Fair, and in his earlier years was also a farm hand. He had many passions, animals (especially dogs), people (never knowing a stranger), music and John Deere tractors.
Survivors include brothers Lewis, Rosco, Jerry, Garry and David; sisters Retha, Norma, Wanda, Tudy, Margaret, Maryann and Violet; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by nine siblings, Leroy, Junior, Jodi, Dwight, Charles, Lavern, Marcella, Helen and Wilma.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at Flanner and Buchanan Funeral Center -- Broad Ripple, where friends may call one hour prior to the time of service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Indianapolis.
