Chamber, Mill Pond hold reception for new residents

Thursday, October 1, 2009

GREENCASTLE -- The Greater Greencastle Chamber of Commerce would like to remind new residents in the community of its 2009 Newcomer Reception.

The event is slated for Oct. 10 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Mill Pond Health Campus, 1014 Millpond Lane, Greencastle. Mill Pond is also the Chamber's co-sponsor for the event.

The Newcomer Reception will begin with a breakfast, and Mayor Sue Murray will be the keynote speaker. Each guest will receive a gift bag filled with goodies from our local Chamber businesses. There will also be door prizes.

The morning will wrap up with a 30-minute bus tour of the community highlights.

This event is totally free and open to anyone who has moved to Putnam County in the past year. To make a reservation, call the Chamber office at 653-4517.

will there be a stop at wal-mart? seems like 30 minutes should be plenty of time to shop.
