PCYDC gets donation

Committee members for the inaugural Family Movie Night at the Park recently presented a check for $1,147.66 to the Putnam County Youth Development Commission. Pictured from left are committee members John York and David English, PCYDC President Bobby Hopper and committee member Josh Richardson. The proceeds from this event will be used to purchase school supplies for children in all Putnam County schools. Committee members not pictured are Samantha Richardson, Linda Merkel and David Zeiner.

Thank you Josh for sticking to your guns and seeing this project through. You had a vision and would not take no for an answer. I personally think the youth of the community deserve somebody like you, unlike those who would not give you the time of day when you first brought this idea to the table. True community leaders are not in it for self promotion and selfish ideas. You, sir, are a good leader.
