Putnam County Sheriff's Department

An Indianapolis man was involved in a single-vehicle crash on Friday, but failed to report it until several days later.

James Quillin was traveling on CR 825E at 2 a.m., when he missed a 90-degree curve onto CR 525E near Fillmore, causing him to run off the road and strike a tree.

When the investigating officer arrived on the scene, the doors to Quillin's vehicle were locked and he was nowhere to be found. According to the accident report, Quillin was contacted by phone and made aware a crash report was required.

Kenny's Wrecker Service towed the vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $750 to $1,000 in damages.

Putnam County Jail

Twila Graham, 46, Seelyville, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 9:21 p.m. Wednesday for failure to appear.

Jeremy Hanley, 22, Coatesville, was booked at 9:33 a.m. Thursday for theft and receiving stolen property.

Greencastle Police Department

Adam Doll of Reelsville was traveling east on Indianapolis Road at 12:23 p.m. Tuesday, when a vehicle driven by Beverly Nichols of Coatesville turned in front of him.

Jerry's Wrecker Service towed Nichols' vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Kevin R. Thompson of Marshall was stopped eastbound on Indianapolis Road at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday, when a vehicle driven by Beverly Stewart of Brazil struck the back of his vehicle.

Thompson was ticketed for operating a vehicle with an expired license. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Tanner Sutherlin of Greencastle was stopped eastbound on Washington Street near Wood Street at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday, when a vehicle driven by Marcia Gould of Cloverdale struck the back of his vehicle. The crash caused Sutherlin's vehicle to strike the back of a vehicle driven by Diane Pierce of Greencastle.

Gould complained of pain in her right arm and to her head, following the crash. Operation Life transported her to Putnam County Hospital. Jerry's Wrecker Service towed her vehicle from the scene.

There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

The following tickets were issued by the Greencastle Police Department:

Brad E. Polster, 32, Cloverdale, was stopped on US 231S and CR 300S at 2:21 a.m. Sunday and was cited for driving while suspended with prior.

Christina N. Williams, 26, Greencastle, was stopped on Indianapolis Road at 3:40 a.m. Sunday and cited for driving while suspended with prior.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 641 E. Walnut St. at 5:16 p.m. Wednesday for a possible structure fire. When crews arrived, the homeowners had already extinguished the fire. They were back in service at 5:42 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 504 E. Seminary St. at 2:47 a.m. Thursday, but were disregarded by DePauw University Police before leaving the station. They were back in service at 2:49 a.m.
