Michael Eugene Hamblin, 47, of Greencastle died Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009 at his residence.

Born May 29, 1962 in Greencastle, he was the son of Claude and Helen Higgins Hamblin.

Mr. Hamblin was a manager at Ford Motor Co. in Memphis, Tenn.

Survivors include his mother Helen Wardlow and husband Robert of Greencastle; brothers Daniel Hamblin and wife Wanda of Utah, Claude Hamblin and wife Christy of Greencastle and Floyd Hamblin of Brazil; sister Kathy Davies of Greencastle; daughter Abbie Hamblin of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father Claude Hamblin.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at Forest Hill Cemetery in Greencastle with the Rev. Steve Williams officiating.
