Barbera L. VanBibber Cash

Barbera L. VanBibber Cash, 60, Greencastle, died Friday morning, Oct. 23, 2009 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born Feb. 3, 1949 in Centralia, Ill., daughter of Paul K. and Marteen (Evans) Burlingame, who preceded her in death.

Barbera is survived by her husband, James L. "Jim" Cash; sons, R Duane VanBibber and Jeffrey A. VanBibber of Stilesville; daughter, Paula K. Jones of Greencastle; stepsons, Tim, Tony and Troy Cash; grandchildren Brittany, Jayden and Zachery; and her sister, Joetta Snow of Bellingham, Wash.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 at the Bittles & Hurt Funeral Home with Rev. Hallie Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3-6 PM on Sunday, October 25, 2009.

Barbera was an 11-year double-lung transplant survivor and the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 115 W. Washington St., Indianapolis, IN 46204.
