Fenwick pleads guilty to all counts
GREENCASTLE -- A former secretary at a Greencastle church has pleaded guilty to all 12 felony counts she faces related to thefts from the Church.
Melynda J. "Mindy" Fenwick was in Putnam County Circuit Court Thursday morning, entering guilty pleas to five counts of Class C felony forgery, one county of Class C felony theft and five counts of Class D felony theft in relation to funds taken from Gobin Memorial United Methodist Church.
Fenwick was employed by Gobin as administrative financial secretary from 2005 to 2009.
No plea bargain was offered by the state.
Fenwick is set to be sentenced on Nov. 23 at 9:30 a.m. She faces up to 10 years in prison.
