Victoria Anderson, 25, Cloverdale, was at the stop sign on Meadow Drive, attempting to turn onto Indianapolis Road at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday when a vehicle driven by Dustin Frye, 24, Cloverdale, struck the front of her vehicle. Frye was traveling west on Meadow Lane and attempting to turn left when the collision occurred.

There was an estimated $1,001 to $2,500 in damages.

Kellie Weller, 23, Beech Grove, was traveling on US 231S near Martinsville Street at 7:19 a.m. Friday, when she became distracted and struck the back of a vehicle driven by Brandon Watson, 22, of Greencastle.

There was an estimated $5,001 to $10,000 in damages.

The following ticket was issued by the Greencastle Police Department:

Joshua Hobgood, 21, Elberfeld, was stopped at Locust and Howard streets at 8:16 a.m. Friday and cited for disregarding a stop sign.

Putnam County Jail

Timothy Ebbing, 22, Indianapolis, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 2:38 p.m. Wednesday for violation of home detention.

Paul Quates, 42, Bainbridge, was booked at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday for violation of home detention.

Cindy Blazier, 37, Clinton, was booked at 11:53 p.m. Wednesday for operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 1601 Hospital Drive at 1:23 p.m. Thursday to assist Operation Life. They were back in service at 1:48 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to US 231N and CR 350S at 3:32 p.m. Thursday to clean up following a motor vehicle accident. They were back in service at 3:58 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to Humbart Hall, 208 S. Olive St., at 4:23 p.m. Thursday for an alarm due to smoke from a trashcan. They were back in service at 4:45 p.m.

Putnam County Sheriff's Department

Janet McDonald, Bainbridge, was traveling east on US 36 near Bainbridge at 3:39 p.m. Tuesday when a box truck registered to Chuck Swisher Plumbing was stopped in the middle of the road with its reverse lights on causing McDonald stop. A vehicle driven by Chadwick Fehr of Coatesville was traveling east on 36 when he struck the back McDonald's stopped vehicle.

Neither vehicle was towed from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.
