ROACHDALE -- Anyone who wants to see a crazy, spooky whodunit will find it in North Putnam's production of the Tim Kelly spoof "That's the Spirit" this weekend. The murder of a Hollywood psychic brings a bizarre cast of characters to the house that once belonged to a famous illusionist.

Irene Lockwood (Jennifer Ashmore) has inherited living space in the house and is assailed by the psychic Clair Voyant (Harley Carnes) and her weirdo friends Bella Donna (Rachel Kolchek), Anne Boleyn (Rebekah Thomas) and Ernst Slater (David Muck), who are searching for a lost book of illusions.

Toss in two bewildered cops (Brandi Powers and Kyle Cunningham), a ham actor (Colton Cox) and a walking lampshade (Shelby Deal) and stir well.

Other members of the cast include Andrea Higgins, Micayla Jones, Chris Poore and Leia Zoll. The production is directed by Linda Gjesvold, with technical assistance from Brad Kimbler, Emily Haas, Jamaica Rees and Jared Lubinski.

Performances are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. tonight and 3 p.m. Sunday in the North Putnam auditorium.
