On An Open Fire
This home, owned by Randy and Kathleen List at 100 Hilltop Lane, has been decorated in his-and-her style. The eclectic décor, refinished auction pieces and mix of everyday practical items makes it very inviting. It is also one of six homes on the Delta Theta Tau sorority 27th annual Holiday Home Tour from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday. The highlight for Randy is the "man room," as dubbed by friends. It contains a pool table, jukebox, pinball machine, slot machines and more. For Kathleen, the simple things -- a dining room with refinished pieces and the get-a-way, which is a small newly enclosed porch for coffee, lunch with friends or enjoying the view. To tour the Lists' home and five others, purchase tickets in advance at Almost Home, 17 W. Franklin St.; Treasures on the Square, 2 W. Washington St.; Eitel's Flowers and Gifts, 17 S. In addition, holiday wreaths decorated and donated by members of the community will be a part of the first holiday home tour silent auction.
