Putnam County Jail

Richard Huber, 53, Quincy, was booked into the Putnam County Jail at 4:42 p.m. Thursday for possession of paraphernalia and theft.

Marshall Waller, 33, Brazil, was booked at 12:07 a.m. Friday for harassment.

Greencastle Fire Department

Crews were dispatched to 500 E. Anderson St. at 10:32 a.m. Friday for a fire alarm due to cleaning in the bathroom. They were back in service at 10:45 a.m.

Crews were dispatched to 632 S. CR 200E at 2:28 p.m. Friday for an open burn complaint. They were back in service at 2:59 p.m.

Crews were dispatched to 1221 S. Bloomington St. at 2:52 p.m. Friday for a car fire. They found smoke from an electrical issue and were back in service at 3:05 p.m.

Greencastle Police Department

Shannon L. Thompson of Greencastle was traveling the wrong way on Liberty Street at 11:34 a.m. Thursday, when her vehicle struck a vehicle driven by Lauren A. Pistoia of Carmel, who was traveling south on Vine Street.

Thompson complained of pain to her left hand and arm. Operation Life transported her Putnam County Hospital. She was cited for traveling the wrong way on a one-way street.

Seniour's Wrecker Service towed Pistoia's vehicle from the scene. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

William E. Rogers of Greencastle was traveling east on Avenue B at 10:16 a.m. Friday, when he attempted to turn right into a private drive an eastbound vehicle driven by Tara Campbell of Greencastle struck the right side of his vehicle.

There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

Scott Wall II, 20, Spencer, was stopped on Round Barn Road at 1:34 p.m. Thursday and cited for speeding -- 53 mph in a 30 mph zone.
