Steven W. Bonebrake

Steven W. "Steve" Bonebrake, 65, of Lafayette on Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009 at his residence. He had been in failing health the past 2 years.

He was born in Parris Island, S.C. on Aug. 8, 1944, the son of Richard W. and Frances Louise Armstrong Bonebrake. He was a 1962 graduate of Williamsport High School and later attended Manchester College.

Mr. Bonebrake served in the US Marine Corp during the Vietnam Era. He was a resident of Williamsport before moving to West Lafayette in 1986. On June 14, 1986, he married Dawn M. Boggs in Veedersburg, and she survives.

He was a member of the Federated Church in West Lafayette. He was an avid reader, loved fishing and animals. He was a Green Bay Packers fan.

Surviving with his wife Dawn are one son, Adam Bonebrake and wife Stephanie of Attica; one brother, David L. Bonebrake and wife Jill of Greencastle; and two grandchildren, Nathan A. Bonebrake and Madison N. Bonebrake.

His parents preceded him in death.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grady Funeral Home in Williamsport with the Rev. David C. Mills officiating. Burial will be in West Lebanon Cemetery with full military honors.

Calling will be at the funeral home in Williamsport on Monday.
