JoAnn Hoffa, 66, of Cloverdale died on Jan. 1, 2009 at her residence.

She was born Nov. 1, 1943 in Putnam County, the daughter of the late John William and Livina Mae Morgan Hall. She was married to James Richard Hoffa, and he survives.

Mrs. Hoffa was a sales associate at Wal-Mart in Greencastle and had been a machine operator at P.R. Mallory in Greencastle.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by he children, Angela June, Bonnie Lou, Diana Lynn and Charles David; sisters Juanita Mayfield and husband Bobbie, Jenny Spangler, Janet Karr and Jerrie Sue Huffman; brothers Johnnie Dale Hall and wife Barbara and Jeff Hall and wife Kim; grandchildren Tabitha A. McLin, Devin E. Hoffa, Keenan R. Monnett, Christopher C. Hoffa and Christopher T. Stevens; and great-grandchildren Ethan D. Willett-Hoffa and Elizabeth N. Hoffa.

In addition to her parents, her brothers Jackie Dean Hall and John William Hall Jr. and brother-in-law Roscoe Spangler preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Whitaker Funeral Home with the Rev. John Nees officiating. Burial will be in the Clayton Cemetery.

Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
