Joseph Collins of Greencastle was backing out of a parking space, when his vehicle struck a parked vehicle. Collins stated his brakes were frozen and he was unable to stop.

The accident occurred at 1 a.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of Putnam County Hospital. There was an estimated $2,501 to $5,000 in damages.

David Hutcheson of Cloverdale was traveling south on CR 725W at 1:10 a.m. Monday in a highway department dump truck with a snowplow and salt/sand spreader, when he slowed for a northbound vehicle driven by Wayne Bright of Greencastle attempting to cross a one-lane bridge.

Bright's vehicle slid into the plow on the front of Hutcheson's truck causing it to be pushed backwards and the plow catch on the bridge headwall. Both drivers were uninjured.
