Area hoop action delayed by strong, wintry blanket

GREENCASTLE -- The wintry blanket the swept across Putnam County Thursday has caused tonight's ball games to be postponed.

South Putnam

The South Putnam Nostalgia Game being held at the Fillmore gym tonight to commemorate the 40th anniversary has been moved until tomorrow. The junior varsity tips off against Eminence at 1 p.m. and the 1969-70 team will be honored between games.

Greencastle

Greencastle's West Central Conference double-header matchup with Speedway has been postponed. No make up date has been set as of press time.

North Putnam

The Cougars contest against Turkey Run has also been postponed, with no makeup date set yet.
